At its June meeting, the United Way Board of Trustees approved a Pitt County community investment plan that included grants for the 2018-19 fiscal year to 14 community partners. United Way of Pitt County staff members are pleased to report that Imagination Library continues to grow in many ways. Pitt County currently has 4,772 active recipients of books, and more than 30,000 books were distributed in the first six months of 2018. Since the inception of the program, 6,725 children have received 107,493 books. Volunteers are needed to sign up children at events and to enter registration information in the office. For more...

Your United Way is wrapping up one campaign and gearing up for another.
