A single mother in Pitt County needed to have her power reconnected. She reached out to her Aunt for assistance. However, her aunt found herself unable to lend her the money, so she called 2-1-1 on behalf of her niece. She was referred to the Department of Social Services. When called for follow-up, the caller was elated. Her niece was able to receive assistance with getting her power reconnected.
